About Rain GEO SAT & Amruta Integrated Water Solutions

Rain GEO SAT is built by Amruta Integrated Water Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (AIWS), headquartered in Pune with offices in Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. AIWS grew out of the Amruta Group, founded in Hyderabad in 1990 — 35+ years of continuous water-engineering practice across India, Malaysia, the EU, the USA, and multiple African countries.

MP Reddy — Managing Director & CEO

MP Reddy leads Rain GEO SAT and AIWS. He brings 20+ years of field experience across Hydrogeology, Hydrology, and complex water-resource software development, and has directed rainwater harvesting, artificial recharge, and groundwater sustainability projects for municipal, industrial, ESG, CSR, and World Bank clients.

His expertise spans satellite rainfall fusion (GPM IMERG, NASA POWER, Open-Meteo, IMD AWS), CGWB-compliant recharge structure design, ESG water reporting (GRI 303, CDP Water, BRSR Principle 6), and IGBC / LEED / GRIHA water-credit engineering.

AIWS founding story

Amruta Group was founded in Hyderabad in 1990 as a water-engineering practice serving municipal and industrial clients across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Over three decades the group expanded into Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Gujarat, then into international consulting engagements across Malaysia, the European Union, the United States, and multiple African countries.

Rain GEO SAT was launched to codify AIWS's field methodology into a satellite-verified, GPS-precise software platform — replacing manual monsoon estimation with defensible numbers backed by NISAR SAR, GPM IMERG, Copernicus DEM, SoilGrids, ECMWF ERA5, and ISRO Bhuvan.

Track record

  • 712+ projects delivered across India, Malaysia, EU, USA, and Africa
  • 30.68 lakh m² cumulative catchment area analyzed
  • ₹280 Crore in annual client water-cost savings enabled
  • ±8–12% monthly rainfall accuracy vs IMD AWS ground truth
